Graham Bell is one of Britain’s best-known winter sports personalities, a five-time Olympian turned award-winning broadcaster and presenter. Competing at the highest level for more than a decade, he established himself as one of the country’s most consistent performers in a sport dominated by traditional Alpine nations. He retired from competition in 1998, closing a career that combined resilience, skill, and remarkable longevity.

After leaving professional sport, Graham transitioned seamlessly into broadcasting, becoming a key figure in the BBC’s winter sports coverage. As co-presenter of Ski Sunday, he brought the drama of the slopes into living rooms across the UK, earning a Royal Television Society Award for his work. He has also presented and commentated at four Olympic Games, from Salt Lake City to Sochi, and fronted adventure documentaries such as High Altitude. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Graham even swapped skis for skates when he competed in ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2021, adding another chapter to his versatile career in the spotlight.
