With over 300 successful outcomes in kidnap-for-ransom, extortion and crisis resolution cases, Scott brings an unmatched perspective on how to perform, communicate and lead effectively when the stakes are at their highest. Today, he shares these lessons with audiences worldwide, helping organisations and leaders translate battlefield-tested strategies into everyday performance excellence.

Scott’s professional journey began in the legal world as a Barrister’s Clerk before he joined the Metropolitan Police, where he rose to the rank of Detective Inspector. His time with the British Army’s Intelligence Corps further developed his expertise in intelligence gathering and crisis management, shaping his unique ability to assess risk and influence outcomes in critical situations. These formative experiences provided the foundation for a career dedicated to mastering human behaviour, negotiation and leadership under extreme stress.

Following his tenure with the police, Scott became a Senior Counter-Terrorism Advisor at the United Nations, advising on global security and crisis response. He later joined NYA, where he worked in Global Special Risks and Crisis Management, before founding his own consultancy specialising in negotiation and crisis leadership. Alongside his operational work, Scott earned a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching and has since accumulated over 2,500 client coaching hours. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of Red Centre Global Ltd, where he delivers cutting-edge training in negotiation, persuasion and decision-making. His books, ‘Order Out of Chaos’ and ‘Eye of the Storm’, have both received critical acclaim, and his insights have featured in Forbes, The Guardian, the Daily Mail and the New York Times, as well as on leading podcasts such as Modern Wisdom and The Jordan Harbinger Show.
