Gordon Tredgold

Gordon Tredgold is an internationally recognised leadership expert, transformation specialist and motivational speaker with more than thirty years of experience delivering high performance results for global organisations. Known as “The Closer”, Gordon has built a reputation for helping leaders stop talking about change and start delivering measurable outcomes. Throughout his career, he has led complex transformations for Fortune 100 companies including DHL, Henkel, Allianz, Fujitsu, NBC and Baxter, saving organisations more than $350 million while improving operational performance by as much as 500 per cent. After graduating with a BSc Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Manchester in 1979, Gordon began building his expertise in programme management, testing and organisational transformation. His early career included leadership positions at Barclays Bank, London Electricity, Barclaycard, Britannia Airways and Cable & Wireless, where he developed a strong reputation for solving large scale operational challenges. By the early 2000s, Gordon had progressed into senior transformation roles with DHL and DPWN Global Business Services before becoming Deputy CIO, Transformation Director and Head of Support Services at DHL IT Services in 2006. In 2008, he joined Henkel as Corporate Vice President of Global IT Service Delivery, where he dramatically improved project delivery rates, reduced system outages by seventy per cent and transformed underperforming global teams. He later studied Global Strategic Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and continued advising organisations on leadership and transformation.

Alongside his consulting career, Gordon has become a globally recognised authority on leadership development. Since 2019, he has served as CEO and Managing Consultant at Leadership Principles LLC, supporting organisations with organisational design, leadership development and business transformation. He has also held advisory and consulting roles with WestRock Company, CEOWORLD Magazine, Forbes Coaches Council and Staffordshire University. Gordon is a contributor to Entrepreneur Media, Inc. Magazine and CEOWORLD, while his acclaimed book, FAST: 4 Principles Every Business Needs, was shortlisted for the Chartered Management Institute Management Book of the Year Award.
