Abbie Eaton is a championship-winning British racing driver whose career combines elite performance, breakthrough moments and an unfiltered view of the motorsport world. Best known by many for her role as the test driver on The Grand Tour, she brings more than two decades of experience at the sharp end of competition. Abbie uses her platform to open up conversations about the hidden realities of the sport, particularly the significant financial obstacles and gender imbalance that continue to shape who gets to compete and succeed.

Her journey began long before she held a racing licence. Inspired by watching her father compete, she entered the world of karting at a young age after being gifted her first go-kart. She quickly progressed through national competitions and soon transitioned into car racing in a Citroen Saxo engineered by her father. After advancing into senior-level racing with a professional team, Abbie joined the Production Touring Car Trophy series, where she claimed her first championship with an extraordinary run of victories. Funding challenges forced her to pause her racing ambitions for a period, yet with another car built by her father, she returned to the track and secured a sponsor that allowed her to mount a full campaign. In that season, she captured a second championship as the only woman on a large and competitive grid.

Her upward trajectory continued as she became Pro Am Vice Champion in the British GT4 Championship and later made history by winning the demanding Blancpain GT Endurance Series, becoming the first woman to do so. She went on to compete in the W Series, further reinforcing her presence on the international stage, and co-founded Rebelleo Motorsport, intending to lower barriers for future talent. Additional milestones include securing pole position at Silverstone and converting it into victory the following day. Her visibility extended beyond the circuit as she appeared on television as a test driver, took on the role on The Grand Tour and worked across film and television as a stunt and precision driver.

Abbie’s varied career and lived experience make her a compelling high-performance speaker. She brings honesty, humility and a competitive mindset to every engagement, recounting the highs of championship success and the lows of financial uncertainty with equal clarity. Audiences connect with her resilience, her determination to defy expectations and her commitment to improving access to motorsport. Whether addressing the realities of being a woman in a male-dominated environment or sharing lessons in leadership and perseverance, Abbie offers insights that motivate, challenge and inspire.
