Charlie’s early career reflects her adventurous mindset and willingness to step beyond the expected path. Beginning her journey in engineering before venturing into entrepreneurship, she proved that professional success need not follow a traditional route. From producing award-winning olive oil in Sardinia as Company Director of Sardinian Fine Foods to running multi-million-pound businesses, Charlie has continually demonstrated that courage and curiosity drive success more than credentials. As one of the youngest and few female Managing Directors in aviation, she has led teams, guided complex operations and built commercial strength in one of the most challenging and competitive industries.

Her professional journey also includes founding The Curious Marketing Club and leading Curious B2B Marketing by Charlie Whyman, where she empowered business owners to grow sales, elevate their marketing and overcome self-doubt. Beyond her entrepreneurial work, Charlie hosted The Curiosity Key podcast, facilitated LinkedInLocal Nottingham events and played an active role in the Professional Speaking Association, serving as Regional President and Vice President for the East Midlands. In these roles, she cultivated communities of leaders and speakers, mentoring others to communicate with clarity and confidence.
