Katherine Moloney is an award-winning aviation entrepreneur, keynote speaker and professional pilot, best known as the Founder & CEO of Elevate(her) Aviation, a global organisation dedicated to increasing the number of women pursuing careers in aviation. Named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 and honoured with the IATA High Flyer Award 2025, Katherine has become one of the aviation industry’s most influential young voices. Whether speaking to business leaders, corporate teams or industry professionals, she shares practical strategies for making confident decisions, building resilient teams and sustaining high performance in fast-changing environments. Katherine discovered her passion for flying at the age of 18 and went on to achieve both her Private Pilot’s Licence for helicopters and Private Pilot’s Licence for fixed-wing aircraft, developing the discipline, precision and situational awareness required to operate safely in demanding environments. Alongside her aviation training, she built a successful career in the industry, serving as Marketing Director at Transair Flight Equipment for more than seven years. Between 2021 and 2023, Katherine was appointed Department for Transport Aviation Ambassador, working alongside government and industry leaders to promote aviation careers and encourage greater accessibility across the sector. She has also represented UN Women UK as a CSW68 Delegate, championing greater opportunities for women and young people. At the same time, Katherine began documenting her flying journey online, growing a completely organic audience of more than 700,000 followers across social media through educational aviation content, behind-the-scenes insights and motivational storytelling.

In 2023, Katherine founded Elevate(her) Aviation, initially bringing together women from across the aviation community through a networking event before transforming the initiative into an international organisation. Today, Elevate(her) supports thousands of members across 144 countries, providing mentoring, networking opportunities, educational resources and career guidance for aspiring pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers and aviation professionals. Under Katherine’s leadership, the organisation has become one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation communities, partnering with leading organisations and hosting major international events. Her achievements have been recognised through the IATA High Flyer Award 2025, inclusion in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026, the Air League Outstanding Contribution to Aviation and Aerospace Award, finalist recognition at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, and nominations for prestigious female founder and STEM awards.
