She is best known for presenting Channel 4’s Secret Amazon: Into the Wild, a powerful two-part documentary that follows a gruelling 50-day expedition through uncharted rainforest. As a speaker, Lucy is known for her energy, warmth and insight – delivering talks that blend daring adventure with deeply human themes of resilience, leadership and mindset. From a young age, Lucy was drawn to the unknown. At just 18, she qualified for her first Arctic expedition with the British Exploring Society, spending ten weeks navigating the frozen wilderness of Svalbard. That experience ignited a lifelong mission not just to explore, but to make exploration a force for change. At 23, she was recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, and became the youngest ever elected Council Member of the Scientific Exploration Society. Determined to forge a career outside the traditional path, Lucy carved out her place in the modern world of exploration with an unwavering commitment to discovery and storytelling.

In recent years, Lucy has completed over thirty expeditions, covering Arctic tundra, tropical rainforests and remote mountain ranges. Her most ambitious journey to date – a pioneering crossing of Guyana’s Kanuku Mountains – gained coverage in The Times and National Geographic. In 2024, her work reached a global audience with Secret Amazon: Into the Wild, where she and an Amerindian team faced venomous snakes, wasp attacks, and harsh terrain to highlight the beauty and fragility of untouched rainforest. She is also an Ambassador for Ford UK, Rhino Ark and the World Land Trust, using her platform to support conservation and sustainability.
