Ollie Thorn is a globally recognised speaker, facilitator, and advisor, drawing on a wealth of personal and professional experience to help individuals and teams unlock their full potential. As Vice Chairman of the Board and Chair of People Committee at Humanity & Inclusion UK, and founder of Ollie Thorne Consultancy, he works at the intersection of resilience, leadership, and inclusion. Motivated by his own journey of overcoming life-changing adversity, Ollie specialises in high-performance mindsets, psychological safety, and inclusive leadership. His keynote topics — De-mystifying Disability; Finding Purpose and Building Courage; Living Courageously: The Importance of Resilience; Psychological Safety and High-Performance Teams; Shaping Mindsets for Change; and The Power of Inclusive Leadership — all stem from his passion for empowering others to thrive in challenging environments and navigate transformational change.

Ollie’s journey began in the British Army, where he served as an officer from 2012 until a devastating spinal cord injury in 2015 led to his medical discharge. Faced with the daunting reality of life-changing disability, he demonstrated remarkable resilience, enduring six months of bedrest and years of rehabilitation. During his recovery, Ollie joined the Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST), eventually retiring as a professional adaptive ski racer in 2016. This formative experience shaped his understanding of performance under pressure, teamwork, and personal accountability — lessons he has since translated into the business world through leadership roles in people, culture and sales.

In the years that followed, Ollie built an impressive career, holding leadership positions such as Senior Manager, DE&I Client Solutions at PageGroup, where he also founded a global disability employee resource group, and Head of Partnerships & Client Solutions at Moving Ahead. His notable achievements include becoming lead facilitator for the Valuable 500’s Generation Valuable programme, raising over £1 million for charity, completing a 70.3 Ironman after learning to swim only ten months prior, and delivering keynote speeches at major organisations including Adobe, Channel 4, AXA Insurance, and Jaguar Land Rover.

Ollie’s compelling story, professional expertise, and natural ability to connect with audiences make him an exceptional high-performance speaker. His talks combine lived experience with actionable insights on resilience, inclusive leadership, mindset, and psychological safety. Companies hire him not only for his expertise but for his ability to inspire transformational change, foster courageous leadership, and equip teams to perform at their very best under pressure.
